UPDATE
July 22, 2020
All of us at Mammoth Mountain RV Park truly appreciate your continued support during these trying times. Your love for camping and the great outdoors is what keeps us going.
Over the last few months we’ve been hard at work making changes at our campground to better serve our staff and guests during the COVID-19 epidemic. Health and Safety will be central to making this summer a success. Below are some of the changes Mammoth Mountain RV Park (MMRVP) is implementing to ensure a great camping experience:
- MMRVP provides ample room for social distancing at our 60-acre campground.
- Cleaning and disinfecting have been increased around the campground to help stop the spread of germs, following CDC and local guidelines.
- MMRVP Staff continues to receive ongoing training on best practices during COVID-19 to help keep guests and themselves safe.
- MMRVP Staff is equipped with PPE, hand washing/sanitizing options, and practicing social distancing.
- MMRVP Staff are encouraged to stay home if sick. Staff will be screened daily.
AROUND CAMP
Things will look a little different around camp this summer. Working with our partners at the Town of Mammoth Lakes, Mono County, and U.S. Forest Service, the following modifications have been made to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
Office/Store is open for curb side check-in and pickup only.
Campsites & Cabins are cleaned and disinfected diligently between guests.
Restrooms & Showers are OPEN, cleaned, and disinfected diligently throughout the day. We highly encourage self-contained RVs to use their own bathroom when possible.
Picnic tables have been removed from RV & Tent campsites. Please plan accordingly.
Please bring your own if you need one.
Pool & Spa will remain closed until further notice.
Clubhouse will remain closed until further notice.
Playground will remain closed until further notice.
We will continue to monitor COVID-19 health, state, and local directives daily. Once it is deemed safe to resume activity, we will gladly open more of the facilities.
If the modifications made in response to COVID-19 won’t work for you, we understand. We can help accommodate a future stay in 2021 when things may be better. We are also honoring a No Cancellation Fee policy through the end of 2020 for COVID-19 related changes to help make your trip planning easier.
Again, we thank you for your continued support.
Best Regards,
MMRVP Staff
